03. Purposes of Medical Processing
We process patient data solely for legitimate healthcare, diagnostic, and administrative purposes:
- Formulating accurate diagnostic council treatment plans across our 6 Centers of Excellence (Implantology, Smile Design, TMJ, Sleep & Airway, Orthodontics, Pediatric Care).
- Custom fabrication of patient-specific ceramic veneers, zirconia crowns, surgical guides, and aligners via our in-house DentKraft CAD/CAM laboratory.
- Maintaining mandatory medico-legal documentation in compliance with the West Bengal Clinical Establishments Act and national clinical directives.
- Scheduling clinical appointments, sending recall reminders for periodontal maintenance, and coordinating international concierge logistics.
04. 3D CBCT & Radiographic Storage
High-resolution 3D CBCT scans and digital radiographs are stored on encrypted Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) with multi-layered role-based access control. Only authorized attending specialists, radiologists, and treating clinicians possess access credentials.
Radiographic Transfer Protocols
Upon patient request, digital radiographic files (DICOM or JPEG exports) are securely transferred via password-encrypted clinical portals or certified storage drives. Diagnostic files are never transmitted via unverified public file-sharing platforms.
05. DentKraft Laboratory Data Transmission
Dental World houses DentKraft, our advanced dual 5-axis CAD/CAM digital dental laboratory. When intraoral 3D scans and digital wax-ups are transmitted to DentKraft technicians for zirconia milling or 3D surgical guide printing:
- Data transmission occurs entirely within an isolated local gigabit clinical intranet.
- Files are pseudonymized using unique patient clinical identification numbers (UHID) to prevent unnecessary exposure of personal demographic information during fabrication.
- All proprietary CAD/CAM milling data is deleted or archived securely following quality control validation.
06. WhatsApp & Virtual Consultations
For the convenience of domestic and international patients, Dental World provides preliminary inquiries and appointment coordination via WhatsApp Business (+91 90733 36669).
By engaging with our WhatsApp concierge, you acknowledge that while WhatsApp provides end-to-end encryption, communications conducted via third-party messaging services are subject to the platform’s respective terms. Sensitive diagnostic reports shared over WhatsApp are immediately ingested into our secure EHR repository and access is restricted.
