01. Scope of Clinical Agreement
These Terms & Conditions govern all consultations, clinical diagnostics, surgical procedures, and prosthetic rehabilitations provided by Dental World Super Specialty Centre (operated by Hitech Dentics Private Limited) across its centers in Kolkata (Park Street) and Mumbai (Bandra).
By booking an appointment through our website, mobile application, tele-consultation desk, or in-person reception, the patient (or legal guardian in the case of minors) agrees to abide by these terms.
02. Consultation Booking & Punctuality
Dental World allocates dedicated operatory time for multidisciplinary specialist assessments. To maintain clinical precision and prevent cross-patient waiting:
- Punctuality: Patients are requested to arrive 10–15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to complete vital health screening, symptom questionnaires, and digital registration.
- Rescheduling & Cancellations: We require a minimum notice of 24 hours for rescheduling routine consultations, and 48 hours for specialized surgical appointments (e.g. All-on-4 implant surgery, general anesthesia pediatric sessions, or full-arch veneer cementation).
- Emergency Prioritization: While we endeavor to honor all appointment times meticulously, acute maxillofacial trauma or emergency patient triage may occasionally necessitate brief adjustments, which our concierge team manages with utmost transparency.
03. Nature of Virtual & Teleconsultations
Virtual consultations conducted via video conference or digital messaging serve as preliminary diagnostic inquiries. Due to the inherent physical limitations of digital communication:
- Virtual assessments provide clinical orientation, provisional treatment options, and preliminary fee estimates.
- Definitive diagnosis, surgical planning, and commencement of invasive therapies require a mandatory in-person clinical examination, complete periodontal probing, and 3D CBCT/radiographic evaluation at our center.
04. Treatment Roadmaps & Informed Consent
Before commencing any clinical procedure, patients receive a comprehensive, itemized Diagnostic Roadmap detailing proposed procedures, estimated timeline, materials, and potential alternatives.
Informed consent is mandatory for all surgical, endodontic, implant, orthodontic, and aesthetic treatments. Patients are encouraged to ask clarifying questions during the diagnostic conference with our specialist panel.
05. Prosthetic Warranties & Laboratory Terms
All crowns, bridges, and porcelain veneers fabricated through our in-house DentKraft CAD/CAM Laboratory utilize authentic, CE-marked and FDA-approved multi-layered zirconia and lithium disilicate (E.max) ingots:
DentKraft Laboratory Warranty Tiers
- Premium Monolithic Zirconia & E.max Veneers: Covered by a 5 to 15-year lab replacement warranty against mechanical structural fracture or chipping under normal masticatory use.
- Mandatory Maintenance Clause: Laboratory warranties remain valid contingent upon attending biannual (every 6 months) preventive periodontal cleaning and occlusal checkups at Dental World.
- Exclusions: Damage resulting from external facial trauma, motor vehicular accidents, untreated bruxism without a prescribed nightguard, or unauthorized dental interventions by outside clinics voids warranty coverage.
06. Implantology Guarantees & Conditions
Our Implantology Center utilizes genuine global tier-1 systems (Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Megagen, Osstem) backed by manufacturer lifetime component warranties against manufacturing defects.
Biological osseointegration depends on host physiological factors including systemic bone density, immune response, diabetic control, and oral hygiene. In the rare event of early implant failure (prior to prosthetic loading) in a non-smoking patient following all post-operative directives, Dental World provides replacement implant placement at no additional surgical fee.
07. Transparent Pricing & Payment Schedules
Dental World operates on a transparent clinical fee model with no hidden charges. Treatment estimates provided after diagnostic examination remain valid for 90 days:
- Phased Treatment Milestones: For complex treatments such as full-mouth reconstruction or Invisalign, payments are scheduled in transparent milestones corresponding to diagnostic, surgical, and prosthetic delivery stages.
- Accepted Payment Modes: UPI, credit/debit cards, NEFT/RTGS wire transfers, cash, and zero-interest EMI financing through authorized medical finance partners.
- Refund Policy: Fees for services already rendered, custom CAD/CAM prosthetics already milled, or custom clear aligners already manufactured are non-refundable. Any unutilized token balance for uninitiated treatment phases will be refunded upon written request within 14 business days.
08. Photography & Clinical Documentation
High-resolution intraoral photography and digital scans are standard diagnostic requirements for treatment tracking, lab communication, and clinical audit.
Clinical imagery used for scientific publications, peer-reviewed medical journals, or educational smile gallery presentations is strictly anonymized (cropping facial identifiers) unless explicit written patient consent has been granted. Patients may opt out of educational photo usage without impacting their clinical care in any manner.
09. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, claim, or clinical controversy arising out of treatment or services provided by Dental World Super Specialty Centre shall be governed by the laws of India.
The parties agree to attempt amicable resolution through our institutional Patient Relations Ombudsman. Should legal proceedings arise, the exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the competent civil courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
